Work Arrangement: Onsite

Shift: Day (Mon - Fri, 6:30 am - 3 pm)

Work Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke M9W 1G4

As a Machine Operator, you will:

  • Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, target plans and verify correct run quantities
  • Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required
  • Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machine’s operating time
  • Filling out production boards with output for the shift, as well as assisting in planning the afternoon shift production
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and follow organizational practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use callipers, micrometres, go no‑go gauges, etc.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast‑paced work environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
