Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Canada, Alberta, is seeking an Engineering Support professional to manage and coordinate maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should possess at least two years of experience in engineering and a proactive attitude, ensuring effective maintenance of systems. This role requires good communication and coordination skills and the ability to work independently or in support of vendors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Nitec / NTC2 / NTC3 in Engineering with minimum of two years working experience.
  • Willing to learn attitude.
  • Able to work independently and help vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Check for new work order request & update status.
  • Attend to breakdown calls & work orders.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and servicing activities.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Check for new work order request & update status
  • Attend to breakdown calls & work orders Request.
  • Coordinate Scheduled PM for Lift System, Fire Protection System, Pest Control Servicing, Clean Room Doors, Clean Room High Speed Doors, Security Card Access & CCTV System, Non GMP AHU & FCU Servicing, Water Tanks Servicing by appointed vendor.
  • Coordinate Testing of PA System with appointed vendor.
  • Supervise Vendors for Project works.
  • Assist ISS cleaners for cleaning & shifting activities when necessary.
  • Set-up of event town hall together with ISS cleaners.
  • Attend all necessary training as arranged by ISS & Takeda
  • Water filters Replacement & servicing of water dispensers.
  • Inspection & topping up of Spill kits.
  • Emergency eyewash & showers testing & inspection.
  • Fire extinguisher inspection
  • Clean Room Facilities Inspection (eg. Lightings, Flooring, Wall, Door Lock, Parameter Seal & Exit, Return & Supply Air Vent, Windows, Piping).
  • Cleaning of Clean Room above Ceiling Areas together with ISS Cleaners.
  • Assist in Building Annual Power Shut-down Maintenance Activities and Building Fire Drill.
  • Inspection on Staircase, Pest control station, Emergency light, Toilet, Office's fixtures & fittings
  • Completion of Takeda Bloom Learning Modules
Qualifications
  • Minimum Nitec / NTC2 / NTC3 in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Management) with minimum of two (2) year working experience
  • Willing to learn attitude
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to commit 5.5 hours and support OT (if required)
