Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier, Ottawa, is seeking a Director of Rooms Division to lead Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services in a luxury hotel environment. This full-time role reports to the executive committee and drives guest satisfaction, financial performance, and service excellence across all heart-of-house and guest-facing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive Rooms Division leadership in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Experience as Director of Rooms or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Fairmont Gold, Guest Services, Loyalty & ALL Member Experience, Health Club, and Valet operations.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and departmental KPIs.
• Partner with Revenue Management to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and profitability.
• Drive service excellence, continuous improvement, and a high-performance culture.
• Lead audits, quality assurance, and compliance with luxury standards.
