Qualifications

• Must have own steel-toed boots.
• Experience working in a lumber mill or lumber yard is desirable.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Wraps, bands, labels, counts, and identifies lumber using various lumber handling equipment.
• Operates lumber handling equipment at wood stacking machinery.
• Maintains a clean and organized yard.
• Adheres to all work safety rules and regulations.

Skills

Attention to detail

Able to count and identify various lumber products

Forklift certification

Level Three First Aid

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Bending, lifting, and reaching

Education

High school graduation preferred

Background in Forestry, Wood Processing
