Salary
The salary range for this position is CAD $32.84 - $44.96 / hour
Job Summary
Fraser Health is the heart of health care for nearly two million people in 20 diverse communities from Burnaby to Fraser Canyon on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations and is home to six Métis Chartered Communities. We are currently looking for interested Licensed Practical Nurses who are interested in pursuing Specialty Nursing Education in Hemodialysis (Renal). Fraser Health sponsorship is 100% tuition and wages. Upon successful completion, you will be offered either a regular full-time or part-time position (minimum 0.50 FTE) in an existing vacancy in the Specialty area. Positions will depend on organizational and patient care needs as well as academic institution course availability.

Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Operations or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multidisciplinary team; performs assessments, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care. The LPN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to agency operating policies and standards and unit specific protocols.
Education and Experience
Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
