Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Medicine-High Observation Unit at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. The term-position is 0.80 FTE with days and nights in person shifts, delivering patient care within a fast-paced clinical unit.

Required: graduate of an approved LPN program, CLPNM registration, IV therapy certification, and CPR per policy. The role emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and adherence to PHIA and related standards.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program required.
• Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
• Certification in IV Therapy; IV Medication Administration.
• CPR training as per Employer policy.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize care for individual patients or groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the healthcare team.
