Overview

Canada House (CH) is a chain of health clinics that provide Cannabinoid Therapy and education. We have invested in a network of healthcare professionals who deliver education and evidenced-based treatment plans for patients.

CH helps clients with conditions including PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, dermatological disorders, various cancers, neurocognitive disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, and eating disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Have experience in working with clients suffering from mental health conditions and be willing to work with a diverse patient population.
  • Have knowledge and/or experience in cannabis education and an interest to continually learn (in house training will be provided).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients\' physical, emotional, and mental health.
  • Educate patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and proper administration techniques.
  • Drive CHC’s business forward by participating in community and physician outreach.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingualism in French/English is considered an asset.
  • Use Canada House\'s electronic medical software for registering clients and keeping up to date patient notes.
  • Register new clients, conduct a thorough medical intake, and provide cannabis education.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Licensed Producers products and services.
  • Recommend cannabis treatment plans and cannabis prescriptions to clients under the direction of a Licensed Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner within Health Canada guidelines (i.e. ACMPR).
  • Participate in and/or lead community support groups.
  • Provide a high quality of service to all clients via phone lines and responding to electronic inquiries with a clear client service focus.
  • Stay apprised of all SOPs regarding listed duties and offer positive input and solutions when opportunities arise.
  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services.
