Trillium Ford Shelburne is looking for a dependable, hardworking and detail-oriented Lot Attendant / Detailer to join our team in Shelburne, Ontario.

This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping our dealership, inventory and customer vehicles looking their best. The successful candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons, have a strong eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized and professional vehicle lot.

Position: Lot Attendant / Detailer
Location: Trillium Ford Shelburne, Shelburne, ON
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $18–22 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, some Saturdays – hours may vary due to winter maintenance requirements.

About the Role

The Lot Attendant / Detailer will support the dealership's day-to-day vehicle operations by maintaining the lot, preparing vehicles for display and delivery, completing vehicle detailing, and ensuring inventory is presented to customers at a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to become part of a professional automotive team. Previous dealership detailing experience is an asset, but training will be provided for vehicle photography and dealership-specific processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe dealership lot.

  • Perform snow removal and assist with seasonal lot maintenance.

  • Move and organize vehicles throughout the dealership lot as required.

  • Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and presented for customers.

  • Complete interior and exterior detailing of new and used vehicles.

  • Perform retail details and prepare customer vehicles for delivery.

  • Prepare vehicles for display, including washing, cleaning, vacuuming and finishing.

  • Apply and maintain vehicle stickers/lot identification as required.

  • Complete vehicle photography for dealership inventory and online listings. Training will be provided.

  • Assist with vehicle licensing and registration-related duties as required.

  • Check vehicles for cleanliness and presentation before they are displayed or delivered.

  • Maintain detailing supplies, equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

  • Follow dealership procedures for vehicle keys, vehicle movement and lot security.

  • Report vehicle damage, concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate team member.

  • Work safely and follow all dealership health and safety procedures.

  • Assist other dealership departments with vehicle-related tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

  • A valid Ontario driver's licence and a clean driving record.

  • Previous experience in automotive detailing, vehicle preparation, lot operations or a similar role is an asset.

  • A strong interest in vehicles and automotive products.

  • Ability to safely operate and move vehicles around a dealership property.

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions, including winter.

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodation available where required.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Professional and positive attitude when interacting with customers and dealership staff.

  • Willingness to learn dealership processes, photography and vehicle preparation standards.
