Job summary

Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack, part of Bannister Automotive Group, is seeking a Lot Attendant to organize and present our vehicle inventory on the lot. You’ll move vehicles, keep displays tidy, and ensure cars are ready for customer viewing in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. No prior automotive experience is required, but it is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles including manual transmission where applicable.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically able to walk, stand, bend, and move throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain new and used vehicle inventory on the lot.
• Move and park vehicles safely as required.
• Keep showroom and display areas clean and presentable.
• Ensure vehicles are lined up and ready for customer viewing.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement.
• Perform lot walks and identify missing or mislocated vehicles.
• Install/remove dealership plate covers and other vehicle materials as required.
• Assist Sales and Service departments with vehicle movement and other needs.
• Perform other dealership duties as assigned.

As a Lot Attendant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our vehicle inventory organized, presentable, and ready for our customers and sales team.

What You’ll Do

As a Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• Organizing and maintaining new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lot
• Moving and parking vehicles safely as required
• Keeping vehicle display areas clean, organized, and presentable
• Ensuring vehicles are properly lined up and ready for customer viewing
• Assisting with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement
• Performing regular lot walks and helping identify missing or incorrectly located vehicles
• Installing and removing dealership plate covers and other vehicle materials as required
• Keeping showroom and display vehicles clean and presentable
• Clearing snow, debris, and other obstructions from vehicles and lot areas when required
• Assisting the Sales and Service departments with vehicle movement and other operational needs
• Performing other dealership duties as assigned

• Previous automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but not required
