Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Lot Associate to help customers by loading orders into their vehicles and keeping the parking lot safe and welcoming. You will be the first and last associate to interact with customers, delivering friendly service and guiding them to the right solutions for their projects.

Working in a warehouse environment, you will follow the GET model, assist with loading, maintain carts, and ensure safety protocols are followed while serving customers during flexible hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction by following GET Model (Greeting, Engaging, Thanking).
• Maintain a sufficient quantity of carts near the entrance of the store.
• Ask open-ended questions about the customer's projects to determine needs.
• Approach customers to determine if they need help loading product into vehicles or carts.
• Plan the best method of loading and securing merchandise in customer’s vehicle as per Safe Loading Training.
• Follow Safety and Loss Prevention policies and use proper safety procedures with equipment.
