Job summary

Boart Longyear Ltd. is seeking experienced longhole drillers/trainees for multiple Northern Ontario sites, including Sudbury and Hemlo. Candidates should have experience with Simba rigs or V30/Raise Bore, and be capable of working in physically demanding conditions while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
• 2+ years of directly related experience preferred.
• Labour background considered an asset.
• Ontario Common Core requirements will be submitted. Transcript requests may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and company EHS policies at all times.
• Maintain and ensure optimal life of site equipment and tools.
• Assist in training new drillers in a safe environment.
• Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Support drilling operations including fluid mixing and measurement, inventory logs, and reporting.
