Job summary

A municipal government organization in Ontario is seeking an individual for a temporary full-time position managing shift scheduling for long-term care employees. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and related educational qualifications. Experience in the health care sector and familiarity with collective agreements is preferred. This role offers a wage rate of $25.44 - $27.93 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Completion of related certificate or diploma or 12 months equivalent experience.
  • Experience with scheduling, long-term care, or health care is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Collective Agreements is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete filling of shifts for approximately 400 employees.
  • Monitor short call-in box/calls and action shift filling.
  • Process shift changes and mutual requests.
  • Assist with payroll tracking as necessary.
