Job summary

A leading transportation company in Regina is seeking a truck driver with a valid AZ class license and ability to operate large trucks. You will be responsible for transporting goods as part of a two-person team, loading and unloading cargo, while ensuring vehicle safety and compliance. This is a full-time position with a salary of $33.60 hourly for 40 to 60 hours a week.

Qualifications

  • Experience is an asset.
  • Must have ability to operate and drive a straight or articulated truck.

Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled.
  • Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.
