Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Long Haul Chemical Transport Driver to safely deliver hazardous production chemicals across Western Canada. You will load, transport, and unload chemicals, maintain documentation, and support loading/unloading operations with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will drive company vehicles, follow regulations, and collaborate with plant personnel and office teams to plan routes. A Class 1 license, 5 years’ experience, and TC DG Regulations knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with minimum 5 years driving.
• Previous chemical delivery experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and maintain logs (electronic/paper).
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Dangerous Goods Regulations and load securement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with policies, customer requirements and laws.
• Transport hazardous chemicals across Western Canada safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload chemicals following safety procedures.
• Maintain courteous, professional driving and safe practices on roads.
• Record delivery information and maintain transportation documentation.
• Complete driving logs (electronic and paper).
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as required.
• Coordinate with managers, plant personnel and office teams for route planning and scheduling.
• Support warehouse and yard activities and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Contribute to safe and efficient daily transportation operations.
