Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Long Haul Chemical Transport Driver to safely deliver hazardous production chemicals across Western Canada. You will operate company vehicles, load/unload chemicals, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while complying with regulations and safety standards.

The role requires a Class 1 Driver's License with at least 5 years of driving experience, knowledge of TC Dangerous Goods Regulations, a clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with minimum 5 years driving experience.
• Previous chemical delivery experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and maintain logs (electronic/paper).
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Dangerous Goods Regulations and load securement standards.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with Baker Hughes policies and laws.
• Transport hazardous production chemicals across Western Canada.
• Load and unload chemicals following safety procedures.
• Maintain professional driving practices and safe operation on public roads.
• Record delivery information and maintain transportation documentation.
• Complete driving logs and related paperwork.Operate forklifts and related equipment as required.
• Coordinate with managers, plant personnel, and office teams for route planning.
• Support warehouse and yard activities as needed.
