Foran Mining is a modern mining development and exploration company advancing Canada’s only greenfield copper project currently under construction: the McIlvenna Bay deposit in Saskatchewan. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy.

As part of the Underground Management Team, the Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing surface and underground storage areas, maintaining inventories of ground support, pipes, fans, pumps, and other supplies to ensure underground mining operations achieve safe and efficient production. The Logistics Supervisor manages a logistics team, orders required inventory and liaises with the site warehousing team to ensure materials are available when needed.

We are seeking a proven, dynamic leader who excels at creating a workplace environment that enables all employees to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead by example by promoting a strong safety culture and ensure compliance through regular meetings and inspections.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor underground miners to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and coordinate surface and underground material movement and maintain sufficient inventories.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Coordinate equipment allocation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and adjust as conditions change.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental permits, and company policies.
  • Respond to emergencies and follow established protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other mine site departments to optimize operations.
Job Qualifications and Skills
  • Grade 12 diploma, GED, or a combination of education and at least 10 years of underground experience.
  • Minimum 3 years underground mining experience with progressive responsibilities and supervisory experience.
  • Safety certifications such as Mine Supervisor, First Aid, and Blasting are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of underground mining methods, materials, and construction activities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse underground team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and site management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting salary of $115,500/year based on experience and qualifications. Monthly Premium and annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.

  • Employer paid health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • RSP with company match
  • Camp-based position with travel support

Foran is committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce as we move into our next phase of growth. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to self-declare when submitting applications and resumes. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, you must be legally able to work in Canada.

The McIlvenna Bay Project site is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position and the remote work environment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes drug and alcohol testing, as a condition of employment.

Deadline for applications to be submitted is: November 30, 2025
