Job description

Join Our Team as a Logistics Supervisor!

Lead the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments for aircraft engine and component MRO. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, manage inventory levels for shipping materials, and support the efficient operation of the logistics department.

Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining seamless logistics operations in the aviation industry!

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others :

  • Coordinate, prepare, pack, and track outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
  • Load and unload aircraft engine shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Prepare, unload, check, and disperse incoming shipments according to procedures
  • Ensure legal liabilities, customs, and customer shipping requirements are met
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in the shipping process
  • Coordinate freight, sea, and air-freight shipments (both domestic and international) with carriers and brokers
  • Document all shipping activities, supplies
  • Support parts room personnel with material and paperwork storage, issuance, counting, and reconciliation of inventory
  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness certification requirements for aircraft materials
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
  • High school diploma / GED required
  • College degree / vocational training desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in supervisory required
