Job description
LOGISTICS & INVENTORY COORDINATOR

Sperri is redefining nutrition in Canada. As the country's first organic, plant-based meal replacement, Sperri delivers complete, balanced nutrition in a great-tasting beverage, created for people who need nourishment without compromise, and is scaling nationally with bold plans for the future. Based in Halifax, NS, the Supply Chain and Planning Coordinator will coordinate end-to-end planning for Sperri's health-product supply chain, demand and materials planning, raw‑material procurement and supplier management, and production scheduling with our contract manufacturer to drive service reliability, cost discipline, and full traceability as we scale. You need to be a builder to develop a compliant, scalable and efficient internal supply chain system.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the full order lifecycle: enter and confirm orders, coordinate fulfillment with 3PL partners, and ensure accuracy from shipment to proof of delivery.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for 3PLs, monitor on‑time, in‑full performance and resolve service or delivery issues quickly.
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and full lot traceability across all warehouses and channels.
  • Track and reconcile inventory in NetSuite, ensuring alignment with warehouse data and acceptable variance levels.
  • Manage e-commerce fulfillment (Amazon and DTC), resolving synchronization or fulfillment errors and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support ongoing EDI (SPS) system enhancements and troubleshoot data or fulfillment issues.
  • Coordinate sample requests, shipments, and ad hoc logistics support for Sales and Marketing.
  • Analyze per-channel logistics costs and identify efficiency opportunities to reduce costs and errors.
What You Bring
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on logistics, order fulfillment, or inventory management experience—ideally within food, beverage, nutraceutical, or natural health products.
  • Strong 3PL coordination experience, including service‑level management, proof‑of‑delivery claims, and cost tracking.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (preferably NetSuite) and EDI platforms (SPS).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations (Amazon, DTC), including order reconciliation and fulfillment processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort analyzing data for accuracy and performance.
  • Understanding of lot control, FIFO/FEFO, labeling, and traceability standards.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a calm, collaborative approach under pressure.
  • Systems fluency: ERP/MRP and WMS; advanced Excel; comfort with lot control, COAs, FIFO/FEFO, and shelf‑life practices.
  • Planning discipline & follow‑through: Maintains reliable process flow and accurate documentation.
  • Decision quality under time pressure: Uses data to make timely calls and elevate with clear rationale during supply/production changes.
  • Adaptability in an ever‑changing scaling environment.
