Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role ensures accurate documentation, coordination with freight companies, and timely delivery of all inbound and outbound shipments. It supports cross‑functional teams, including Production, QA, and Sales, to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure product compliance. Additionally, the coordinator upholds safety standards and contributes to process efficiency within the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all visitors to the warehouse professionally and courteously.
  • Assist in scheduled and spot inventory verification counts.
  • Liaise with freight companies for competitive rates and delivery schedules for all shipments.
  • Enter and dispatch all orders and communicate tracking using SAP, and details with the requesting party.
  • Assist in generating documents for outbound and inbound shipments, including Bill of Lading, Packing Slips, Picking Slips, and Pallet Cards.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Specialist in forecasting material requirements by providing data on usage from recent orders and through regular communication with the production team.
  • Provide support to other team members as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualification
  • Diploma (3 years) in supply chain management / production and inventory management / supply chain & logistics / operations management / or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years full‑time work experience in shipping / receiving and / or operations coordination experience.
  • Experience in a production environment, particularly in food manufacturing, is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP systems.
  • Documentation and verification skills (for Bills of Lading, Picking Slips, Packing Slips, comparing to Purchase Order, Receiving Memos).
