Our client, BASF, a leader in the chemical industry is looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist for their Regina facility.

Pay rate: $30-$35/hr + benefits
Join our team as a Distribution Specialist supporting North American supply chain operations, with a focus on safe and efficient stewardship, best-in-class customer service, and effective collaboration across internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a high volume of SAP transactions, demonstrating strong multi-tasking and priority management.
- Create and manage stock transfer orders to support reverse logistics, including product returns.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure return orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Investigate third-party warehouse inventory discrepancies and support the inventory reconciliation process, including occasional travel to third-party sites for inventory counts.
- Perform batch/lot code updates to correct inventory master data.
- Process rejected freight invoices, adhering to required timelines.
- Identify and address root causes for freight invoice errors, continuously improving process efficiencies.
- Ensure accurate inventory management at third-party warehouses and bulk terminals.
- Coordinate with external 3PLs and carriers to deliver high-quality logistics solutions.
- Facilitate re-labeling or repacking activities at 3PLs in alignment with stakeholders.
- Execute product disposal in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Educate stakeholders to maintain compliance with government and industry regulations.
- Confirm proper bulk equipment availability and verify compliance of shipping sites and tanks.
- Present a professional image to customers at delivery, promoting a best-in-class reputation for the organization.
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Standard work schedule runs until 5pm.
- Flexibility to work some weekends in May and June is required based on seasonal business needs.
- Occasional travel may be required to third-party warehouse sites, primarily for inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of industry experience in warehousing, distribution, and import/export.
- Proficiency with integrated SAP business systems software and advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Working knowledge of Canadian customs/import/export rules and documentation for agricultural commodities.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail for inventory reconciliation and problem solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to coordinate with external 3PLs and carriers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
