YOUR ROLE
Provide general clerical support to assigned departments. Maintain inventory database, perform data entry, and provide scheduled and ad hoc reports to management and the customer.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Advanced knowledge of the systems – IMFirst, IMPULSE, etc.
- Provide advanced support in any functional area within the ALC.
- Specialize in resolving discrepancies in an assigned area.
- Support and help others to do their job.
- Request other associates to perform a task.
- Collaborate with other Logistics Coordinators.
- Identify potential talent and communicate information to Supervisor/Manager.
- Lead by example.
- Work closely with the Team Lead to ensure results are achieved.
- Work closely with new hires to ensure they are trained.
- Work under limited supervision for routine situations.
- Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, kit, or move orders to packing station or shipping department.
- All other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Must read, write, and speak English fluently. Possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities. Ability to deal with multiple demands and various tasks/deadlines simultaneously.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Qualified candidates will have 1+ year(s) of management experience in a transportation/operational/warehouse or distribution environment.
- Must possess working knowledge of RFID scanning systems/devices.
- A college diploma is required, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers and employees.
- Must possess problem solving, conflict resolution, decision making, and planning/organizing skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to multi-task and excellent time management and computer skills.
- Must be creative and think outside the box.
- Must be able to work afternoons and nights if required.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
