Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Logistics and Transportation, the Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in day-to-day logistics operations and customs clearance activities. This position requires a strong understanding of import/export compliance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics and customs clearance
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience managing freight/LTL shipments
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • IATA/TDG certification in Dangerous Goods is considered an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day logistics operations, including freight, LTL, and customs clearance processes
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on‑time delivery
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and applicable international trade standards
  • Maintain and update HS Tariff code databases for product classification accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost‑effective transportation of goods
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring visibility and timely communication of status updates
  • Identify and resolve logistics issues to minimize delays and optimize supply chain performance
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents, records, and reports
  • Utilize logistics software and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and coordination
  • Analyze logistics data to identify cost‑saving opportunities
Safety Shoe Requirement

This position requires the use of CSA Grade 1 toe protection safety footwear. Applicants must have access to a pair of safety footwear that meets this requirement prior to starting employment.
