Overview

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Logistics Clerk on a permanent basis on our Sales & Logistics team.

This position requires on-site work and is based at our Co-op Ethanol Complex northwest of Belle Plaine, SK.

What you’ll do
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer and respond to concerns relating to contract execution, import/export documentation, and shipment information.
  • Responsible for scheduling grain deliveries, distiller’s grain, and ethanol load out to ensure customer demands are met. Work with the Manager, Sales and Logistics to gather required volumes to ensure supply and demand needs are met and contracts executed.
  • Prepare and review grain receipts including splits, discounts, and tickets.
  • Prepare and review distiller’s grain, ethanol bills of lading; data entry and contract application including settlement information for management approval.
Who you’ll work with

The Team: Reporting into the Manger, you will work closely with the Grain and Loadout team. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, autonomy and work-life balance.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with all functions within the Ethanol Complex and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the Maintenance Department, Production, Accounting, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.

The Customers: You will demonstrate strong customer focus while supporting Grain Sellers and external customers such as Livestock Producers and wholesalers.

Who you are

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have 1-3 years of relevant experience in the agriculture industry or Supply Chain Management.
  • Have a diploma in Business or Logistics would be an asset.
  • Have strong decision making skills, excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, and enjoy trouble shooting, problem solving and interacting with customers.
