Job summary

ICOR Technology in Ottawa, a Safariland Group company, seeks a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and related records. You will coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Production and Customer Service to ensure timely, accurate shipments of demo robots, parts, and equipment.

The role requires experience with shipping documentation, ERP/inventory systems, and safe handling of high-value items; you will maintain precise records and support customs and trade show

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, or related field.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and domestic/international processes.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ability to safely handle, package, and move materials and equipment.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with high-value, fragile or technical equipment is a plus.
• Training in safe material handling or shipping procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents, packing lists, labels, and paperwork per procedures.
• Follow customs, export, and carrier documentation processes and escalate questions.
• Enter and maintain serial-number and equipment information for demo robots and parts.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics records in ERP systems.
• Communicate shipping requirements and timelines with internal departments.
• Assist with shipping for trade shows, demos, customer visits, and loaner equipment.
• Pick, kit, stage, inspect, and prepare robots and parts for shipment.
• Prepare outbound shipments, packaging, labeling, documentation, and pickup.
• Safely package and crate delicate equipment using established methods.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.
• Perform inventory control and provide information to internal teams.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow material-handling procedures.
• Perform other duties to support daily operations.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the coordination and execution of shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and safe movement of materials, equipment, and products. Supports production requirements, customer shipments, trade shows, demonstrations, and other logistics activities while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

The role works closely with Marketing, Sales, Production, and Customer Service.

Role - Typical Duties:

• Prepare shipping documents, packing lists, shipping labels, and other required paperwork using established company procedures.
• Follow established procedures for customs, export, and carrier documentation, and elevate questions or exceptions to the appropriate team member.
• Enter and maintain accurate serial-number and equipment information for demo robots, accessories, spare parts, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics records in ERP and inventory management systems.
• Communicate routine shipping requirements, priorities, and timelines with internal departments, and track shipments while providing status updates to team members.
• Assist with shipping and logistics activities for trade shows, product demonstrations, customer visits, loaner equipment, and other special events.
• Pick, kit, stage, inspect, and prepare demo robots, accessories, spare parts, and other materials for shipment.
• Prepare outbound shipments, including equipment staging, packaging, labeling, documentation, and pickup preparation.
• Safely package and crate delicate, technical, and high-value robotic equipment using established packaging methods, protective materials, and appropriate tools.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and other applicable documentation, including identifying and reporting damaged or missing items.
• Perform inventory control activities and provide shipping, inventory, and equipment information to internal teams.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow proper material-handling procedures.
• Perform other duties as required to support daily operations.

Skills and Training Required
