TRIUMF's student program typically hires ~40 students each term from across all disciplines who hang together socially and professionally during the term, and beyond. We hold weekly ProD sessions for students which include different activities such as conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and active listening. Located on the UBC campus makes it easier for students to make friends, create memories, and explore Vancouver all while working at TRIUMF. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with miscellaneous Stores tasks as required such as: convenience packaging of small parts, putting away stock, serving customers, answering the telephone, data entry, unloading trucks, which may involve the use of a forklift, as well as other related tasks as required. Is familiar with TRIUMF's safety and security related policies as they relate to the SCM-Logistics group, which will include issuing dosimeters and entry of visitors to the site.
• Maintaining Stores inventory by performing tasks such as: inventory replenishments, inventory analysis, maintaining the inventory catalog by keeping supplier and item attributes up to date (part numbers, prices, order points…).
• Supporting with shipping and receiving tasks such as: receiving inventory and non-inventory goods, gathering quotations for shipping requests and processing shipments.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with academic progress and previous relevant work experience, and ranges from $ 2815 to $ 4238 per month including 4% vacation pay.
