Job description

Our client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Louis Creek, BC. Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing the company's logistical operations, ensuring the efficient and timely transportation and storage of finished products. This opportunity is full time, 40 hours per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and Monitor Logistics Operations: Plan and track shipments of finished products to meet customer requirements, coordinate with carriers to arrange timely pickups and deliveries, and track and monitor all shipments, promptly addressing any delays or issues.
  • Manage Shipping and Documentation: Prepare and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling, inspect and document outbound shipments, creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) as necessary, and upload BOLs and corresponding photos to SharePoint.
  • Maintain Inventory and Communication: Keep accurate records of finished product inventory and storage, update and communicate delivery schedules, and liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

Qualifications:

  • A certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software like ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with little supervision.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate factory equipment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
