Job summary

ATCO seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Jansen Discovery Lodge (JDL) Camp Services team in Saskatchewan. You will direct daily operations, manage budgets, coordinate food services, accommodations, and safety programs, and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with Indigenous engagement initiatives, oversee a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure high quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and strong financial stewardship across the lodge environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of management experience in the accommodation industry.
• Experience managing multiple departments.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate food services, accommodations, janitorial, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, health safety, recreational amenities, and finance.
• Direct a multi-disciplined support team and ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain situational awareness of tasks, staff, and resources.
• Prepare and submit internal and external reports.
• Manage budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
• Monitor service implementation for consistency and quality.
• Assist in policy and procedure development.
• Training and development: ensure effective orientation, training, coaching, and rotation scheduling.
