About the role:

The Location Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and quality of camp activities. Working closely with the Regional Manager, Location Manager, and Inventory Coordinator, the Location Coordinator oversees the execution of daily and weekly activities, including Specific Training Areas (STA) at Laurus Summer Camp. They also provide on-site support to staff and ensure a positive experience for campers and parents.

Responsibilities:
Pre-Camp (Training & Site Preparation)
  • Assist in training summer camp counselors, in collaboration with the Regional Manager and Location Manager.
  • Help with the preparation of the camp site, ensuring all necessary materials, equipment, and logistics are in place.
  • Ensure a smooth opening of the location by coordinating with staff and assisting with setup.
On-Season ( March break 2026 and 9 Weeks – Late June to Late August)
  • Ensure the smooth execution of all scheduled camp activities.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with all team members to maintain program quality.
  • Respond to emails and concerns from parents, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Provide on-the-spot training and coaching to staff as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate team-building activities for camp staff to foster a positive work environment.
  • Work alongside the Inventory Coordinator to ensure all required materials are available for activities.
Qualifications
  • Education in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
