B&R Eckel’s, a Canadian transportation company with terminals in Bonnyville, Lloydminster, and Nisku, is seeking a Loader Operator to join the pipe yard. The role involves loading/unloading, inventory counting, and supervising two swampers, with a focus on safety and reliable customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, at least one year of yard experience, loader certification, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer product.
• Rack and tally customer product in the terminal.
• Supervise a crew of two other workers (swampers).
• Ensure the safety of all workers in the assigned work area.
• Support inventory control and customer service functions to complete tasks on time.
• Assist with daily, semi-annual, and annual inventory counts.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Operate loaders, graders, crawler tractors, and other machinery as required (certification required).
• Keep training current.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer product.
• Rack and tally customer product in the terminal.
• Supervise a crew of two other workers (swampers).
• Ensure the safety of all workers in the assigned work area.
• Support terminal personnel so inventory control and customer service functions are completed on time.
• Comply with each customer’s reporting requirements.
• Assist with daily, semi-annual, and annual inventory counts.
• Assist with other department activities assigned by the supervisor.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Operate loaders, graders, crawler tractors, and other machinery as required. Current equipment certification is required.
• Keep all company-required training current.

Qualifications
