Drax Group in Meadowbank, BC is seeking a Loader Operator to support our zero-carbon energy operations. You will skillfully operate a range of mobile equipment, move fibre between storage piles and the plant, and uphold strict safety standards.

Formación

• A strong safety mindset is essential.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Equipment Operator certification and Level 3 First Aid Certification are assets.
• Ability to complete online and paper forms or basic checklists.
• Adaptable to changes in work schedule and tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
• Good mechanical aptitude is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Skillfully operating a variety of mobile equipment and tools essential for production and maintenance activities.
• Work with the plant operator to move fibre from storage piles to the plant efficiently.
• Uphold the highest safety standards by strictly adhering to all relevant government regulations and corporate policies.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and special projects, inside and outside of equipment.
• Promptly report any safety incidents or infractions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and quality control measures to enhance operational efficiency.
