Job description

Millar Western’s Whitecourt Pulp Division is seeking a highly motivated Loader Operator to join the yard team. This individual will be required to work with the yard group in areas including chip pad, woodroom, and general yard duties. They must be committed to workplace safety and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility and our safety program. This position is a shift position working rotating 12 hour shifts of both days and nights.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment, Standard First Aid, prior experience working in a manufacturing facility and an excellent safety record. The successful candidate will be required to have a valid drivers license. Good communication skills, proficiency with the MS office suite and familiarity with SAP are desirable assets.
