Job summary

A leading non-profit mental health organization in Ontario is seeking a Counsellor (MSW) to provide therapeutic support and counseling to youth facing emotional challenges. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Qualified candidates should have a Master's Degree in Social Work, relevant experience, and registration with the appropriate regulatory body. The role involves both individual and group therapy in a structured environment.

Qualifications

  • Registration with OCSWSSW or CRPO required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Live-In Treatment or relevant healthcare setting.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on clinical treatment experience required.
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and CPI certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic support and counselling to youth.
  • Conduct comprehensive formulations and assessments of youth.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
