Qualifications
- Experience with trauma-informed practices.
- Current WCB Occupational First Aid, Level 1 and CPR certificates required.
- Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention Certificate and/or MANDT are considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support services to children/youth and adults with specialized needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal health care.
- Implement individuals' daily schedule and transport individuals to appointments.
Skills
Experience working with youth or adults with complex behaviors
Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
Understanding of trauma-informed practices
Education
Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Work, Human Services, Education, Sociology, or Psychology
Tools
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
