A Canadian supplemental education provider is seeking a part-time Little Readers Teacher/Tutor to help students aged 3-6 develop foundational reading skills. You will be responsible for teaching sessions in-person, using proprietary materials, and supporting students in a fun, engaging environment. The role offers $17.20 - $20/hour, with a flexible schedule including afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Gain valuable teaching experience. Oxford LearningRosedale is currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in this area.
Tutor-teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Little Readers Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during afterschool hours (starting at 4:00pm), as well as Saturdays (9:00am - 2:00pm). Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

The Little Readers program is an enriched [half-day and Saturday morning] reading program for children aged 3 – 6 that develops the foundational skills needed to learn and excel.
The Little Readers teachers use proprietary materials to teach students letter names, sounds, phonics, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and fine motor skills.
You will work directly with our younger students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities:
