Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Liquor Store Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive sales growth in a fast‑paced retail setting.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily store operations, evaluate performance, and plan weekly schedules.
  • Manage staff, assign duties, conduct performance reviews, and supervise 5–10 people.
  • Study market research and trend data to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise mix.
  • Determine inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions.
  • Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and maintain profitability.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non‑university certificate or diploma (1–2 years) or equivalent experience.

Experience: 1–2 years in retail or liquor store management.

Skills: Strong knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems, inventory control software, email, spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Outlook.

Transportation: Must own reliable transportation; public transport available.
