Job summary

A local distillery is seeking a motivated Liquor Sales Rep/Brand Ambassador for the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia. The role involves growing brand presence by building and managing accounts with private liquor stores, restaurants, and more. Candidates should have a strong local network, be confident communicators, and ideally possess experience in beverage or alcohol sales. This position offers commission-based pay along with hourly compensation for events. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

We’re Hiring: Liquor Sales Rep / Brand Ambassador (Lower Mainland, BC)

Ryes & Shine is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven sales rep to grow our presence across the Lower Mainland—working with private liquor stores, restaurants, hotels, bars, and key accounts.

What you’ll do
  • Build and manage accounts, drive wholesale orders, and open new listings
  • Educate teams and decision-makers on the brand (product knowledge + placement)
  • Execute tastings, in-store demos, and market activations
  • Represent Ryes & Shine professionally at events and in the field
  • Track outreach, follow-ups, and results (basic reporting)
Compensation
  • Commission-based wholesale sales
  • Hourly pay for special events (farmers markets, tastings, in-store demos, etc.)
What we’re looking for
  • Strong local network or the ability to build one quickly
  • Confident communicator—great with buyers and floor staff
  • Self-directed, organized, and consistent with follow-through
  • Previous beverage/alcohol sales or hospitality experience is a big plus
  • Valid driver’s licence + reliable vehicle (Lower Mainland travel)
Brand compatibility

We’re open to reps who carry other complementary brands, but we’re looking for someone who won’t represent direct competing spirits (e.g., vodka, gin, moonshine—and eventually whisky as we expand).
