Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients in Vaughan, Ontario.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, count and stack linens, collect soiled items, transport supplies, inspect for wear, and keep the laundry area clean and sanitary. The role supports a fast-paced hospitality service environment and offers opportunities for teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry is a plus or asset.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Able to operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash and dry linens following approved procedures.
• Fold, count, and stack linens.
• Collect soiled linens and redistribute clean linens.
• Transport supplies (clean and soiled) to storage and collection areas.
• Inspect linens for wear and tear and handle damaged items per SOP.
• Maintain clean, sanitary laundry areas.
