The Permanent Line Worker is a core, permanent member of the production team who owns an assigned station or line and runs it to the standard rate and quality specification, shift after shift.

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in Ontario and pass cannabis-sector pre-employment screening.
  • Experience in production, food, packaging or related manufacturing/operations roles.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, batch instructions and GMP requirements.
  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping; comfortable completing production counts and simple logs.
  • Reliable attendance; able to work the assigned shift pattern, including some weekends during peak.
  • Physically able to perform standing, repetitive production work and lifting for a full shift.

Responsibilities

  • Own the staging area: receive, stage and release materials inbound to production and returning to the warehouse, keeping staging footprints organized and accurate.
  • Safely operate powered material-handling equipment — electric pallet stacker (OBI-PS-001), walkie stackers, manual stacker and pallet jacks — within marked aisles only.
  • Put away and pick pallets across the 288-position, two-level-high racking using the location-labelling system.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy: record all moves and transactions and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Control warehouse access so that personnel not trained on workplace transportation units do not enter equipment operating zones.
  • Complete the daily pre-operation inspection for each unit (OBI-PS-001 daily log) before use; tag out and report any defect.
  • Uphold GMP, sanitation and housekeeping/5S standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements (Ontario OHSA), including floor-marking and PPE standards.

The Permanent Line Worker is a core, permanent member of the production team who owns an assigned station or line and runs it to the standard rate and quality specification, shift after shift. This is the backbone of Olli's output.

The roleoperatesline equipment once trained and authorized, performs in-process quality checks, and records productionaccuratelyso the shift data is reliable. It suits a consistent, quality-focused operator who takes pride in running a clean, compliant, on-rate line.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cannabis, food, pharmaceutical or other regulated/GMP environments.
  • Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO, lot traceability or excise handling.
  • Equipment operation experience (depositors, mixers, wrappers, packaging equipment).
  • 5S / lean awareness
  • Consistency and quality at the station.
  • Accuracy and integrity with production andlotrecords.
  • Safety,hygieneand GMP discipline.
  • Teamwork and dependability.
  • Willingness to cross-train across rooms
Working Conditions

On-site role in a cannabis edibles manufacturing facility (Etobicoke, ON). Standing role across production and storage areas with repetitive tasks and lifting; room temperatures vary (warm cook/prep areas, cooler curing/storage). Requires gowning, hygiene and PPE compliance and adherence to GMP, food-safety and Ontario OHSA requirements. Some schedule flexibility including weekends may be needed to support production across shifts.
