Apollo Health & Beauty Care Ltd. is seeking an energetic Line Technician to join our team in a fast-paced filling/packaging environment. This role provides leadership, trains new employees and directly supports the department supervisors to meet safety, quality and production targets.

The successful candidate will read SOPs and PI, set up and maintain equipment, plan line needs, communicate issues to supervision, monitor product quality, and drive continuous improvements on uptime and throughput.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience with equipment set‑up, calibration, and changeovers in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of filling/packaging machinery and production processes.
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, reporting, production software)
  • First Aid trained or willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand Process Instructions (PI), product labels, and SOPs; verify, communicate and improve SOPs and PI As instructed and required.
  • Take appropriate actions to correct issues; keep line area clean and equipment organized; ensure proper de‑issuing and return of materials.
  • Plan line changeovers and predict tool wear based on SPC/OEE data; schedule tooling maintenance and changes.
  • Communicate information to the supervisor (manpower, production, machine issues) and recommend remedial actions.
  • Read and interpret production reports and obtain first offs.

We are currently searching for an energetic, motivated Line Technician to join our Team!

The Line Technician plays an important leadership role in the Filling/Packaging department. This person works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is responsible for overseeing activities on the filling/packaging line. The Line Technician gives direction, trains new employees and directly supports the department supervisors in executing and achieving safety, quality and production output requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and understand Process Instructions (Pl), product labels, and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP); verify, communicate and improve SOPs and PI As instructed and required.
  • Takes appropriate actions to correct any issues; ensures line area and equipment are kept organized and clean at all times; materials are properly de-issued and returned at end of job run.
  • Proactively plan/schedule line needs (Tooling Maintenance Changeovers, etc.) For each shift, predict tool wear and tool changes based on SPC/OEE Data.
  • Communicate information to the supervisor (i.e. manpower, production, machine issues) and recommend remedial action to the supervisor as required.
  • Read and interpret production reports and obtain first offs.
  • Set up and maintain production assets (labeler, filler, and capper) to guarantee optimal run time.
  • Repairing equipment, tools and machines.
  • Maintains line changeovers and set‑ups are completed correctly and within required time.
  • Communicate with coworkers in order to solve immediate production concerns or complete production assignments.
  • Complete production assignment in a timely manner and in accordance with department schedules.
  • Line Tech/Maintenance tools are strictly controlled at all times.
  • Continuously monitor product for defects and quality. Identify the alignment, lot codes, debris and other observable defects.
  • Investigates and resolve downtime issues; takes action to troubleshoot problems and correct any issues in a timely manner and make improvements
