Job Description:

Line Cook/Prep Cook GOLDEN BC at Reposados Tacos in Golden, BC, Canada. Requires candidates with a Bachelor Degree. Open to both part-time and full-time applicants.

Job Responsibilities:

Company Overview: We are a popular small-town taco restaurant located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in downtown Golden. Our team is composed of outdoor enthusiasts like skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and bikers. Join us for a fun and dynamic work environment!

Position Details: We are hiring kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and be team players.

Required Skills for Line Cooks:

  • Proficiency with kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, stoves, food processors, and slicers.
  • Strong knife skills for efficient and safe ingredient preparation.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques: grilling, roasting, sautéing, frying.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and control portions for consistent quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand long hours and lift heavy objects.
  • Organization and cleanliness in the workspace.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, plus tips.

Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts, day and night shifts, weekends as needed.

Work Location: In person.
