Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in Mississauga. You will prepare, pre-cook and cook food to meet corporate standards and support high-volume production with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications include proven cooking experience, a Food Safety Certification, and a credential from a recognized cooking school. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and follow health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pre-cook and cook food according to guidelines.
• Prepare mise en place and other products for high-volume production.
• Clean equipment after use following health and safety policies.
• Label, date, store and rotate food and beverages in storage areas.
• Communicate with operations and report maintenance issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
