Job summary

Signify in Canada is seeking a System Design Specialist in Mississauga. You will deliver technical lighting designs, CAD layouts, and BOMs to support sales, while advising on optimal applications and technologies that improve customer satisfaction.

Bring a degree in electrical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience in lighting solutions. Travel within North America and collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D are part of the role.

Qualifications

College diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Sales support or application engineering experience in the lighting industry with proven expertise in lighting solutions and customer engagement.
Proficient in AutoCAD; Bluebeam experience preferred.
Lighting certification and/or active membership in a lighting association is a plus.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position; must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Support Sales by delivering technical expertise and value-driven lighting solutions from concept to execution.
Produce detailed designs, CAD drawings, bills of materials, and technical layouts to promote customer satisfaction and sales success.
Present pre-sales assessments with impactful recommendations and training.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to represent innovations and share market insights.
