Job summary

A residential cleaning service in York Region, Vaughan is looking for a dedicated housekeeper to perform various cleaning tasks. Candidates do not require any formal education but should be dependable, organized, and flexible. The role involves sweeping, mopping, and dusting, as well as support for newcomers and diverse communities. This position offers 30 to 40 hours of work per week with an emphasis on personal suitability and work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
  • Dust furniture.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets.
  • Stock linen closet.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
