Powder King Mountain Resort Inc. in Mackenzie, BC is seeking a light duty cleaner who is motivated and has good interpersonal skills. The position is permanent, full-time, with shifts including day, evening, weekend, and flexible hours. Wage is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 40-hour workweek.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning tasks around the hotel, motel, or resort, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure guest satisfaction while working in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic facility information to guests.
• Pick up debris and empty trash cans.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
