Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a reliable janitor to maintain clean floors, washrooms, offices, and common areas at client sites in Gander and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, restocking supplies, and waste removal; occasional extra duties may be assigned.

This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. A Criminal Background Check is required. Accommodation is available during recruitment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
• Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
• Empties and cleans garbage cans
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
• Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.

General Description

A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

Schedule

Royal Bank - Monday to Friday - Part Time - 1 hour per day

Scotiabank - Monday to Friday - Part Time - 1.5 hours per day
