Organizational Structure

This role reports to: Dr. Daniel Bernstein

Position Summary

The Lifespan Cognition Lab at KPU, located in Metro Vancouver, is looking to hire a project manager. In this role, the manager works with and reports to Dr. Daniel Bernstein. The lab is currently conducting a study to examine false memory and personality across the lifespan.

The Project Manager position will involve collaboration with Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Matsuba, other research assistants, and will be responsible for the overall management of the project. This can involve team management, participant recruitment, testing, budgeting, paying participants, data analysis, manuscript and conference paper submission, community outreach, and other knowledge sharing. The candidate will receive career mentoring and opportunities for independent research, teaching, and professional development.

This is a part‑time position (approximately 10 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the research project and work with all team members, including tasks such as literature reviews, manuscript reviews, data cleaning & analysis, stimulus programming, drafting applications for ethics and grants, and paying participants.
  • Mentor lab members regarding research‑related skills (statistics, programming, study design, etc.).
Job Requirements / Qualifications
