Job description

Driftwood Summer Camps is looking for Lifeguards and Swim Instructors for their 8 week summer camp! Interviews being conducted daily. See below for the job description:

Lifeguard Job Description

• Work with a team of 60 plus Red Cross Certified Lifeguards to provide a safe, fun environment for campers ranging from 2 – 12 years old.
• Contracted Hours – 8am – 4pm.
• Responsible in the morning for hands-on water instruction with campers. Small group swim lessons given to help campers develop new skills.
• Lunch break assigned along with other guards. Hot lunch menu provided by camp.
• Afternoon swim is recreational time for campers. Guards are responsible for their pool along with other assigned guards.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting the rest of camp with the arrival and dismissal process and supporting as a staff member in a group on rare occasions.
