Job summary

District of Squamish is hiring Lifeguard 1 & 2 across regular, part-time, and casual roles. Join our aquatics team to monitor pool activities, enforce safety, and deliver engaging swimming lessons in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Lifeguard 1 earns $30.98/hour and Lifeguard 2 $33.34/hour, with an extra $1/hour for evenings and early mornings. Union CUPE Local 2269 positions offer vacation pay, benefits or 12% in lieu, and opportunities for growth.

Pay, Perks and Premiums

Lifeguard 1 – $30.98/hour Lifeguard 2 – $33.34/hour

• $1/hour extra for evening & early morning shifts (after 5pm & before 8am)
