Qualifications

- Knowledge of wheelchairs, lifts, and other specialized equipment is necessary.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Identify program needs and implement life plans for individuals.
- Provide case management and personal care for individuals.
- Deliver life skills training and emotional support.
Skills
Knowledge of health-care procedures
Experience with mechanical equipment
Education
Post-secondary education in Social Services or Developmental Services
Additional experience if education is in a non-related field
