Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• Knowledge of wheelchairs, lifts, and other specialized equipment is necessary.
• Valid driver’s license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify program needs and implement life plans for individuals.
• Provide case management and personal care for individuals.
• Deliver life skills training and emotional support.

Skills

Knowledge of health-care procedures

Experience with mechanical equipment

Education

Post-secondary education in Social Services or Developmental Services

Additional experience if education is in a non-related field
