Job summary

Beneva is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Director to build awareness, brand and sales for Beneva among advisors in the MGA network. The role emphasizes understanding advisor needs, providing business-building ideas, and delivering sound product solutions and case consultations as needed.

The position requires strong relationship management, sales leadership, and the ability to travel 50% within the territory, with a focus on promoting Beneva’s image and services.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant degree, an industry designation, or significant work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial product sales to independent advisors.
• Able to work from home/road in a virtual office environment.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time within given territory.
• License in Life Insurance or in the process of undertaking to obtain this is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build on existing individual insurance product knowledge and Beneva’s market position.
• Plan and implement a territory-specific sales strategy to gain advisors and maintain key relationships.
• Understand territory advisors’ business models to provide support and advice for growth.
• Conduct case consultations and prepare materials for clients and advisors.
• Update and report activities through CRM and sales processes.
• Deliver one-on-one or group presentations to raise Beneva’s brand and sales.
• Promote Beneva’s image and product quality at events and meetings.
• Develop relationships with MGA offices to generate new opportunities.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales and other Directors for aligned growth.
• Monitor advisor activity and report any unusual or non-compliant actions.
